Caption, "Forty-one student nurses at the Grace Unit received their coveted caps not long ago after their first six months of training. While proud families looked on, each student stepped forward before Miss Peggy Z. Stewart, dean of the Grace School of Nursing, to receive her cap. In the picture, Miss Stewart caps Rosamond Sneiderman (whose father snapped this picture). After the ceremony Mr. Davidson told the fledgling nurses that the first six months are the hardest.
