Caption attached to photograph: For the first time some of the men learned the liquid content in cubic centimeters of a glass of mild, cup of tea and bowl of soup. This part of the lecture series presented by the Nursing Service is designed to instruct the Men Volunteer's in the procedure for recording patient intake. On the blackboard can be seen part of an explanation of the New Haven Hospital Inclusive Rate Plan. The men's corps is taught also such facts as this about the operation of the hospital.
