Image appears in Ad Lib, Vol. IX, No. 10, 1965. Caption, "New Trash Truck in Use. This sleek, new workhorse, a Leach Packer on a Ford 800 chassis, has a 17 yard capacity for trash and rubbish. Its enormous appetite has cut drastically the number of trips from hospital to incinerator. The maintenance department formerly scheduled four, five or even six a day. Now only one daily trip in necessary, and instead of two men, only one need be assigned. The price tag? $14,000."
