There were 38,202 patients discharged during the fiscal year. The health care market moved to an increased managed care contracting, the YNHHSC developed new strategies for delivery and financing of health services, while focusing on providing quality patient care, training health care professionals, advancing clinical care while supporting New Haven’s community. The Facilities renewal project was completed with the East pavilion also formerly known as the Memorial Unit.
