Dr. Wayne Flye, left, above, recognized worldwide for his immunological research as well as for his work in perfecting surgical procedures of organ transplantation, performed the surgery (liver transplant) on the youngest patient ever, (Marissa Emple), with the assistance of vascular surgeon Dr. Richard Gusberg and a well coordinated team of nurses, and anesthesiologists.
