Abstract

Type material for 102 nominal species of fossil bryozoans is in the Invertebrate Paleontology Collections of Yale University's Peabody Museum of Natural History. Primary types for 30 nominal species include 30 holotypes. Secondary types for 17 nominal species include 190 paratypes (representing 17 nominal species). Tertiary types for 82 nominal species include 294 hypotypes. Most types are from New York State, Quebec and Vermont and have been described by E.R. Cumings, C.O. Dunbar, J.P. Ross and W.H. Twenhofel.
