Abstract
Type material for 144 nominal species of fossil graptolites are in the Invertebrate Paleontology Collections of Yale University's Peabody Museum of Natural History. Primary types for 20 nominal species include 18 holotypes, and 11 syntypes (representing two nominal species). Secondary types for 3 nominal species include 3 paratypes. Tertiary types of 127 nominal species include 263 hypotypes. Most types are from Marathon (Texas) and New York State and have been described by W.B.N. Berry, O.M.B. Bulman and Rudolf Ruedemann.
