Summary Description
The Greater New Haven Community Index 2019 highlights significant disparities in income, health, and well-being across the region. The report shows that despite overall high health and quality of life indicators, lower-income and minority neighborhoods face higher rates of chronic diseases, lower life expectancy, and greater economic challenges. Addressing these inequities is crucial for the long-term prosperity and health of the Greater New Haven area.
