Abstract

Studies of Foraminifera from plankton tows taken during the four seasons of the year at stations in shelf water, slope water, the Gulf Stream, and Sargasso Sea between Cape Cod and Bermuda in the western North Atlantic have shown that the slope waters generally yielded the highest concentrations of Foraminifera at all seasons, with spring and fall being the most productive seasons....
