Abstract

To assess the importance of predation on foraminifera, a meiofaunal enclosure with openings of 1 mm containing 30 l of azoic sand was placed in a subtidal flat at Link Port, Florida in February 1976. During March, April, May, and June 1976, 4 replicate samples were taken inside and outside the cage.
