This paper presents a study of the mass transport induced by the propagation of an infinitesimal disturbance on a steady stream of arbitrary vorticity distribution and direction. The three-dimensional velocity field is related to the scalar pressure field, and the particle trajectories are determined in a Lagrangian analysis that includes terms of the order of the wave slope squared....
