Description
Each of our students has a supercomputer in their pocket. Here, I will discuss how those devices can be used "hack" the classroom, to create a vibrant, interactive learning environment in which technology is used to accentuate our in-class experience rather than replace it. I will review recent scholarship on technology in the classroom and discuss my own experiments creating mobile-first applications for the classroom, including using technology in "flipped" and experiential classroom contexts.
