Image appears in YNH News, May 1968 with caption, The Private Pavilion in 1926. Completed in 1923, this building is now known as the William Wirt Winchester Annex. In 1953 the building and land were transferred to the Winchester Fund. The entire building was turned over at that time to the temporary use of the Grace-New Haven School of Nursing until the Grace Educational Building could be ready for occupancy in November 1953. In 1954, when the remodeling of the Winchester Building was complete, patients were returned to the first three floors and the fourth floor occupied by laboratories.
