Comments

1721 patients treated in the past year. Daily average number of patients 146 1/3. Cost per patient per week is $10.81. The ambulance responded to 548 calls during the year. Number of patients increased by 17% from previous year, patients needed be moved to the chapel to accommodate them. More space is needed. The lower floor and private rooms of the Maternity Ward is still being used to treat gynecological cases. A fourth boiler was installed at the hospital. The proposed Fitch Wing, when complete, would serve as an expansion for administrative offices. Within the Connecticut Training School for Nurses Report there is a detailed description of the nurses training in regard to patient care.
