There were 30,488 discharged patients during the fiscal year. The hospital increased the staffing to more than 2,900 employees, 737 beds, 116 bassinets and 75 outpatient clinics. The hospital performed the first kidney transplant in the country during the fiscal year. The hospital increased the wages/salary for all staff as well as the benefits package. The Newborn Special Care Unit opened, during the fiscal year.
