Comments
There were 22,931 patients admitted during the fiscal year. The average cost per day was $26.95. The hospital employed over 1,500. Even though the School of Nursing graduates and applicants have increased, there was still a shortage of nurses in the hospital. To help increase nursing staff there was an increase in promotions and salaries. The Radiology department instillation of the automatic pako equipment was delayed until the following fiscal year.
