The opening of the Intensive Care Unit, held January 30, 1969. The 12-bed unit was on the 4th floor of the Clinic Building. The image appears in Yale-New Haven News, February 1969. Caption reads, "Mrs. Arnon D. Thomas and Reuben A. Holden not the bronze plaque commemorating the waiting room, a gift by Mrs. Thomas honoring her late husband."
