On back: "Under a grant from the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Dr. Gilbert H. Glaser, Assistant Professor of Neurology at Yale, is currently conducting research to determine the physiological changes caused in a muscle by paralysis. To obtain the necessary data, Dr. Glaser compares the effects of electrical stimulation on paralyzed and non-paralyzed muscles. Here the Yale doctor adjusts part of the equipment used in the experiment. May 1955"
