Description

This report includes a semi-centennial history of the hospital prepared by Dr. P.A. Jewett and a copy of the charter. The report lists people who have served the hospital from 1832-1876 such as physicians, surgeons, prudential committee members, and stewards. There is a description of buildings erected at the hospital and there are by-laws of the General Hospital Society of Connecticut, adopted April 23, 1874. Also included are a report and history Knight Hospital and a Hartford Hospital history and act of incorporation.
