2281 patients treated in the past year. Daily average number of patients 183. Cost per patient per week is $12.546. The ambulance responded to 719 calls during the year. The average number of patients remained about the same as last year. There is thanks given to donors, but a plea for additional funding. Two additional free bed funds added this year by the estates of Samuel E. Merwin and Mary E. Ives. There is a great need for a ward devoted to advanced cases of uncomplicated pulmonary tuberculosis. A detailed description of the Connecticut Training School for Nurses as well as an application are included.
