Description
Google Earth Engine is an online platform that offers petabytes of satellite imagery for free and easy visualization. GEE's catalog makes available the entire LandSAT collection, as well as MODIS, Sentinal-1 radar data, precipitation, elevation, agricultural, climate, and sea-surface temperature data. A javascript programming interface allows custom analysis at a global scale, as well as integration with local or regional data. This presentation will demonstrate the capabilities of Earth Engine, as well as highlight some recent projects undertaken at Yale using the technology.
